Abilify
Abilify is a member of the class of drugs called atypical anti-psychotics. It is popularly prescribed for the treatment of schizophrenia.
Brystol Myers Squib, the maker of the drug, has been asked by the FDA to add a warning to the popular schizophrenia drug. The warning will advise patients that Abilify may cause diabetes and other blood sugar disorders such as hyperglycemia.
Other possible side effects of the drug may include:
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Constipation
- Dizziness
- Restlessness
- Diarrhea
- Rash
- Tremor
- Uncontrollable Movements
